Position Overview:

In this role you will serve as a Scheduling Coordinator/Phlebotomy Services Assistant who is responsible for assisting True Health Diagnostics’ clients, patients and sales representatives through phone and e-mail.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer interfacing role
  • Proficient in phone and email communications
  • Displays critical thinking ability
  • Solves problems accurately and efficiently
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred in business related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and present themselves in a polished professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing team environment with efficiency, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills; must be able to handle multiple priorities, demonstrate flexibility with required change.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, multi-task and work under pressure is the key to success in this position, which also requires extreme attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent customer satisfaction.
  • The Phlebotomy Services Assistant must also have a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products to include:
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • Outlook
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Scheduling Software
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • The Phlebotomy Services Assistant has access to confidential patient data available in True Health’s Lab Information System (LIS) and has access to both incoming and outgoing telephone calls and faxes. Therefore the ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Educational background in chemical or biological sciences is helpful

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Phlebotomy Services Team is responsible for:
  • Coordinating with other departments to resolve issues
  • Receiving incoming calls from clients, patients and sales representatives
  • Answer and assist clients with calls related to:
  • Phlebotomy Draw Options.
  • Supply orders.
  • Specimen collections and supplies
  • Answer patient calls and assist them with
  • Phlebotomy Services questions
  • Scheduling appointment with Contracted Phlebotomy Vendors
  • Responds to inquiries made by clients, patients, and sales representatives in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of True Health Diagnostics’ test offerings, phlebotomy services is essential.
  • Adheres to True Health Diagnostics Health and Safety Guidelines.
  • Adheres to HIPAA guide lines to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Special projects

Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations as well as True Health’s Code of Conduct and Ethical Responsibility, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws

Work Environment:
