Go For A Ride Day: November 22

Some of my best memories were made on “rides.” My sister and I used to love going to Carowinds and Six Flags when we were little. When I was 11, we owned two horses. It could be the middle of summer in Georgia but I always enjoyed riding horses in the woods with my dad. And if you’ve ever taken the “Road to Hana” on Maui, Hawaii, you know as well as my mother and I do that is one heck of a ride! Never before have I been so scared for my life and so in awe of the Hawaiian landscape at one time. Even now, my husband and I enjoy just taking a drive through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

When was the last time you took a ride somewhere, just for fun? Use today to take a ride with the family, a friend, a dog – or just go by yourself – and make a memory. Great for your body and mind, you won’t regret it!
