Our Facilities

True Health’s high-tech laboratories surpass the industry standard for quality and innovation.  Our laboratory technology includes state of the art instrumentation:

  • Second-generation 600 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, an industry-unique instrument that measures LDL and HDL particle numbers. Our NMR is the most sensitive NMR spectrometer in use in a clinical laboratory.
  • Custom-built ELISA platforms, which contain robots that transport samples using a multi-platform, swivel system and minimize the risk of human error.
  • Proprietary instrumentation for 100+ patent-pending and patent-issued tests, including innovative markers such as lipoprotein(a) particle number [Lp(a)-P] and the HS-Omega-3 Index®.

Automated sample tracking system

From the moment a patient’s blood is drawn to after the results are processed, all blood samples are tracked meticulously with customized barcodes, and are stored for quick datamining and retrieval throughout the duration of sample storage. True Health’s “cherry-picking” robots recover multiple samples simultaneously and accurately.

Sophisticated biostorage

Our storage system enables retrieval of up to 1.2 million one-milliliter aliquots at any time. Temperature and humidity levels of True Health’s facilities are controlled and monitored electronically, 24 hours a day,  365 days a year,  ensuring maintenance of sample integrity.

Next-level sample access

Our multi-level refrigerator, or “vertical lift module” (VLM), allows samples to securely commute between multiple floors of our laboratory. The VLM allows True Health scientists multiple points of entry for access,  increased productivity, and reduced search time. This means our scientists can access and analyze samples faster and with greater accuracy.
